Os jardins do Tivoli

O Tivoli é o segundo parque de diversão mais antigo do mundo, inaugurado em 1843 em Copenhagen.  No ano passado o parque recebeu quase quatro milhões de visitantes. Além dos brinquedos e jardins, o parque abriga um teatro e uma grande sala para concertos.   Tivoli was opened in 1843 in Copenhagen and it is the second oldest amusement park in the world.  Last year the park received almost four million visitors. In addition to the rides and gardens, the park houses a theater and a large concert hall.

 

Passei parte do dia 18 de julho de 2012 andando pelos jardins do Tivoli, me deliciando com as flores, caminhos estreitos, barcos ancorados e a beleza das crianças que brincavam alegres no parque.I spent part of the day 18^th July 2012 walking through the gardens of Tivoli, enjoying the flowers, narrow paths, anchored boats and the beauty of happy children playing in the park.

 

Há muitos cafés e restaurantes charmosos no Tivoli além dos carrinhos de pipoca, sorvetes, doces e cachorro-quente. There are many charming cafes and restaurants at Tivoli as well as carts of popcorn, ice cream, candy and hot dogs.

Almocei em um restaurante do parque e na mesa havia uma ficha para preencher como eu queria o bife, as batatas e a manteiga. Escolhi bife bem passado com batata assada e manteiga com salsa. A comida muito saborosa foi servida numa chapa quente. I had lunch at a restaurant in the park and on the table there was a card for me to specify how I would like my steak, potatoes and butter. I chose the steak well done, baked potatoes and parsley butter. The food, very tasty, was served on a hot plate.
